Social Media Marketing Do's and Don'ts
This presentation is meant for small business owners and/or staff who are familiar with social media but not sure where to start or whom have started but need help to make it work for your business.
We will discuss the various forms of social media (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, Pinterest and even Instagram), the basics of how each work and for whom and then dive into the basics of posting on social media.
The basics of posting on social media will include how to post, when to post, what to post and some really great tools (scheduling and creating images) that will help you with all of these basics. Tools are great, but knowing which ones to use and how to use them are often the second hurdle.
We will focus quite a bit on Facebook as it is one of the most widely used social media channels but if you get the gist on Facebook, together with this class, you will be able to work your social media more comfortably.
Attendees of this presentation will learn:
· A familiarization of the various social media channels and how they can be used for your business
· The basics of why social media is necessary
· What should be posted on social media and when
· How to create engaging content on social media
· Tools that will help you not get overwhelmed and distracted on social media
Intended Audience: This presentation is geared towards business owners who are already familiar with the basics of social media to those who are already working in social media but not getting the best results.
