    LEAGUE CITY, TEXAS – The City of League City held a Special Election for the purpose of electing a Mayor and a Council Member to Position 2 on March 19.
     
    Pat Hallisey was elected mayor with 2,068 votes.  Hank Dugie, who ran unopposed, was officially elected with 3,395 votes.

    Votes will be canvassed during a Special Council Meeting on March 29 at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers.  The newly elected Mayor and Council Member for Position 2 will also take their oath of office during the meeting.
