LEAGUE CITY, TX (October 5, 2020) The League City Regional Chamber of Commerce officially moved to its new location at Walding Station on October 2, 2020.

The move comes after months of planning by the chamber to relocate to what President and CEO Dewan Clayborn felt was a better facility for the chamber’s operations.

We felt that Walding Station has the unique, small town, homely feeling for the Chamber,” Clayborn said. “We are across from League Park and are located in the heart of League City, which is very representative of our chamber’s mission and goals to ensure economic prosperity in our town.

The new building is larger than the chamber’s previous facility, including a boardroom and patio. Both spaces have been sponsored by multiple chamber members, whose sponsorship will be recognized through exclusive plaques with the business’ logos.

Clayborn spoke on the chamber’s primary goals now that they have moved to their new location.

Our main goal and top priorities are our members,” Clayborn said. “We are ready to serve our members more efficiently and effectively than ever before.”

The new building comes shortly after the chamber brought on new staff member Cathy Turner as the membership director.

Clayborn and Turner both expressed excitement about the new building’s patio, with Turner saying it is her favorite feature of the new building.

“The patio allows us to have many chamber member events in our own backyard,” Turner said. “The patio is definitely my favorite part of the new building.”

The chamber will have a soft grand opening on October 29 at 4:30 p.m. and welcomes new and old chamber members.

The new address for the League City Regional Chamber of Commerce will now be 100 Perkins Ave A, Ste B2, League City, TX 77573 at the Walding Station.
