League City Regional Chamber launches first ever book club

The League City Regional Chamber of Commerce will have its first ever book club, which will have its first meeting on February 17. 

Dubbed the “Chamber Business Book Club,” the club will meet once a month starting in February and will last until April. Each meeting will consist of discussing a particular book of that month.

The books for each month are the following:

• FEBRUARY - Leader Shift by John C. Maxwell

• MARCH - Your Next Five Moves: Master the Art of Business Strategy by Patrick Bet-David

• APRIL - Nine Lies About Work by Marcus Buckingham and Ashley Goodall

Each monthly meeting is limited to 20 people per session. The club will be facilitated by Glenn Freedman.

“This book club is one of the many opportunities your League City Regional Chamber is providing to allow those in our community to connect,” CEO and President Dewan Clayborn said. “I am excited for this chance for our community to come together through the reading and discussion of literature that can enhance one’s knowledge of business and leadership.”

Those interested in attending can register online at the chamber’s website. Those who register will then receive the Zoom link and guidelines upon registration.
