• Ambassadors

  • The League City Regional Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Program has been developed into three teams. The first team will be the Meet & Greet Team, the second team will be the Outreach Team, and the third team will be Membership Recruitment. We have outlined each team’s goals below. As an ambassador, we ask that you commit to which team(s) you would like to be a part of using the Participation Selection Form.

    I. Meet & Greet Team


    • As the first impression for many of our new members and guests, the Meet & Greet Team is essential to welcoming new members at Chamber ribbon cuttings and providing a positive and friendly energy to those attending the luncheons/events.


    • Attend Ribbon Cuttings
    • Attend Luncheons/Events – Greet at the Door

    II. Outreach Team (Sign Up Only Available Twice a Year)


    • Develop a relationship with individual Chamber Members and serve as a direct contact for them in terms of Chamber Outreach


    • Develop relationships structured into two parts of the year (First Outreach/Second Outreach) with speci c goals

    • January (First Outreach) /July (Second Outreach) you will be able to choose 5 Chamber Members and be assigned 5 Chamber Members that you will be the Ambassador for and you will contact (call on telephone or visit place of business)

    • Outreach meets after the general ambassador meeting for 15-20 minutes where you will receive speci c goals and information/talking points you can convey to your assigned Members

    • Turn in “Outreach Cards” to the Chamber in response to your Outreach

    • Ribbon Cuttings & Luncheon/Event Greeting (encouraged but outreach is your main focus) 

    III. Membership Recruitment


    • Recruit New Members to the Chamber


    • Identify (Chamber can provide a list) Businesses in the Community that may be prospective members to inform and make them aware of the services the Chamber has to offer them and to answer any questions they might have regarding what being a part of the League City Regional Chamber of Commerce can do for them.

    • Membership Recruitment meets after the general ambassador meeting for 15-20 minutes where you will receive speci c goals and information/talking points you can convey to prospective members

    • Report Visits/Progress at Monthly Ambassador Meetings

    • Ribbon Cuttings & Luncheon/Event Greeting (encouraged but membership recruitment is your main focus)


    1. Bi-Annual Evening Social (Celebrate Ambassador Successes and Appreciation from the Chamber)
    2. Ambassadors can bring one prospective member to a luncheon and receive a free lunch for the Ambassador and the prospective member, subject to the following rules:
    • The prospective member must be the company decision maker on membership

    • The Ambassador must RSVP with Jane prior to the day of the luncheon with the name and business name of the prospective member

    • The prospective member may only attend one luncheon for free with an Ambassador

    • An Ambassador may use this bene t all year as long as the Ambassador brings a different prospective member to each luncheon

    • This rule is subject to change and space availability

    ​​     3. Quarter Awards (Traveling Awards) – Announced at Ambassador Meeting/Membership Luncheon

    • Ambassador Outreach Award *Recognition for most members visited

    • Ambassador Member Growth Award *Recognition for most members joining during the quarter

    • Ambassador Meet & Greet Award *Recognition for most Chamber events attended as a Meet & Greet Ambassador
